Branford, CT (June 19, 2024) – A man identified as Josiah Lawrence Steinman, 24, lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred in Branford. Reports from police show the incident occurred on Interstate 95 when Steinman was operating a Nissan Sentra headed north. While traveling, he struck a truck parked on the shoulder near the rest area at approximately 3:14 a.m. Steinman was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where he later lost his life. The driver of the truck sustained no injuries. Police continue to investigate.
