Shelton, CT (June 30, 2024) – Police in Shelton are currently investigating the death of a man after a traffic accident on Sunday night, June 23. Reports from local authorities show that police responded to a car fire at the intersection of Commerce Drive and Research Drive at around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday. Police pulled an unidentified man from the burning car shortly after arriving at the scene. The man was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The fatal accident is currently being investigated by the Shelton Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team.
