Car Accidents in Connecticut
Crashes like the one in Somers highlight the devastating impact serious car accidents can have on victims and families. Connecticut records thousands of collisions every year, and many result in catastrophic injuries. Intersections and heavily traveled roads remain high-risk areas where a single mistake can change lives forever.
Car accidents happen for many reasons, but preventable behaviors are often at the center. Distracted driving continues to be one of the leading causes, with cell phone use pulling attention away from the road. Speeding and reckless driving add to the danger, reducing reaction times and increasing the severity of collisions. Impaired driving from alcohol or drugs also remains a significant factor in many serious crashes.
For those injured in these accidents, the aftermath can be overwhelming. Victims may undergo surgeries, face months of rehabilitation, or struggle with permanent disabilities. On top of the physical challenges, families are often left dealing with medical debt, lost wages, and emotional trauma that lingers long after the crash.
If you or a loved one sustained injuries in a Connecticut car accident, you may have the right to pursue compensation. This can cover medical costs, future treatment, loss of income, and damages for pain and suffering. A seasoned car accident lawyer can investigate the crash, hold negligent drivers accountable, and pursue the justice you deserve.
