Durham, CT (January 6, 2025) – An 86-year-old man lost his life on Monday, January 6, in a fatal traffic accident. Sources say the collision occurred on Route 17 between three vehicles at approximately 1:20 p.m.
According to preliminary reports, two vehicles collided head-on, and a third vehicle attempted to stop to avoid the crash but slid due to slippery road conditions and struck the passenger side of one of the other two vehicles. At this time, the deceased victim has not been identified. One other person suffered serious injuries in the collision.
