Wolcott, CT (June 3, 2024) – One teen has lost their life and four others suffered injuries after a fiery collision in Wolcott on Saturday night, June 1. At around 10:00 p.m., police received a call concerning a vehicle that had gone off the roadway on Spindle Hill Road. Officers responded to the scene in the 700 block of Spindle Hill Road and found the car on fire. It had gone down a small embankment and landed on its side, sources said. Two teens were outside of the vehicle when police arrived and three more were still inside of the burning automobile. A firefighter helped douse the flames while police helped the teenagers escape out the back window. The 18-year-old driver, who was identified as Alexander Dillon, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
