East Haven, CT (June 23, 2026) – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a wreck involving a pickup truck on Sunday evening, June 21, in East Haven. The collision happened around 8:56 p.m. at Hemingway Avenue and Dodge Avenue.
Police said the motorcyclist was heading south on Hemingway Avenue when a northbound pickup truck began turning left onto Dodge Avenue. The motorcycle then hit the front driver’s side of the pickup, ejecting the rider.
Emergency crews treated the motorcyclist at the scene before taking them to a hospital with serious injuries. As of Monday, June 22, the rider remained in the Intensive Care Unit.
No names were released after the wreck. Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
