Connecticut Pedestrian Accidents

In the United States, car accidents pose a serious threat to safety. Annually, over 6 million traffic accidents are reported nationwide, resulting in approximately 3 million injuries and around 40,000 fatalities. Alarmingly, more than 93% of these incidents stem from the actions of negligent drivers.

Over the past decade, negligent driving has emerged as the leading cause of car crashes in America. Common forms of negligent driving include distraction, intoxication, speeding, and fatigue.

Pedestrian-involved traffic accidents frequently lead to injuries for pedestrians. According to statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, about 51% of reported traffic accidents in the US involve pedestrians. The injuries suffered by pedestrians in these accidents are often severe and sometimes fatal.
