Milford, CT (April 9, 2025) – A vehicle was struck by a stray tire on a roadway in Milford on Tuesday, April 8, causing a woman to sustain injuries.
Reports from authorities show the incident occurred at approximately 8:28 a.m. on Interstate 95. Police say a sedan was traveling near exit 39A when it was struck by a stray tire that had come off of another vehicle headed south on the highway at high speeds.
The woman suffered traumatic injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her name has not been reported. Police in Milford continue to investigate.
