New Britain, CT (February 19, 2025) – A traffic accident ended in injuries in New Britain on Tuesday evening, February 18.
At approximately 4:08 p.m., the wreck occurred on Route 72 West near Exit 2 when a Subaru Legacy was headed west just east of the Exit 2 ramp. A second vehicle, a Honda Accord, was traveling directly to the left of the Subaru. For reasons unknown, the two cars were involved in a crash. The Honda then drove across the right shoulder and collided with a rock wall before stopping in the right lane and right shoulder. The Subaru stopped on the right shoulder, according to reports.
One person suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision. Police in New Britain continue to investigate the details of the incident.
