Preston, CT (October 30, 2025) – A pedestrian who was struck in a violent hit-and-run earlier this week died from his injuries on Wednesday, October 29.
The crash happened around 9:25 p.m. on Monday, October 27, along Route 2 in Preston. According to the Connecticut State Police, 57-year-old Robert Edwin McGlothin of Norwich was walking near the roadway when a vehicle hit him and sped off.
