Shelton, CT (March 10, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after they were hit by a vehicle on Route 8 in Shelton. Connecticut State Police report that police responded to the scene near Exit 9 at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 9. Paramedics worked to help the injured victim and transport them to the hospital for treatment. Their identity has not been reported at this time. Police in Shelton continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash, and more updates should be expected as the inquiry progresses.
