Westport, CT (August 7, 2024) – A car crash involving pedestrians caused two people to sustain serious injuries in Westport. Reports from authorities show the incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. on August 7. Sources say the accident took place on Imperial Avenue when a vehicle headed north veered off the road and struck two pedestrians. Both are reportedly in critical condition at this time. The driver of the car remained on-site and cooperated with authorities. Police continue to investigate.
