Connecticut Car Accidents

Experiencing a car crash can turn your life upside down, and unfortunately, this is something we see all too often. Every year in Connecticut, hundreds of lives are tragically lost in crashes, and thousands more are left dealing with injuries ranging from spinal cord damage to broken bones. Many of these accidents happen because of the careless actions of drivers. In fact, more than 90% of traffic collisions in the United States are caused by drivers who are intoxicated, distracted, tired, or speeding. When you think about the over 5 million traffic accidents reported nationwide each year, it’s clear that driver negligence is a serious and dangerous problem.

If you’ve been injured in a car crash because of someone else’s negligence, you have the right to seek justice, including filing a personal injury claim. In Connecticut, accident victims can pursue financial compensation for things like medical bills, lost wages, and other damages, thanks to the state’s comparative negligence laws. As long as you’re less than 50% at fault for the crash, you’re entitled to recover damages caused by the other party.

Partnering with an experienced car accident lawyer in Bantam is crucial to building a strong case. Your attorney will gather evidence to prove the other driver’s fault and work to ensure you receive fair compensation. They’ll conduct a thorough investigation, collect crucial evidence, and strive to achieve the best possible outcome for you.
