Bridgeport, CT (March 11, 2024) – A fatal two-car crash took the life of one 23-year-old female driver in Bridgeport and injured several others. 

 The accident happened on Sunday, March 10, at the intersection of Seaview and Connecticut Avenue. Two women and a girl also suffered injuries in the collision. They were passengers in the female driver’s vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle, identified as a 33-year-old woman, was also injured. According to reports from authorities, the accident took place just before 10:00 p.m. on Sunday. Bridgeport police say the 23-year-old woman’s vehicle, a black Ford Focus, was headed south on Seaview when it attempted to go through the intersection. As it was doing so, it was struck by a blue 2008 Audi A4 operated by the 33-year-old woman. She was headed west on Seaview at the time. Both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles at the scene and were unresponsive when help arrived. The three injured passengers were also pulled from the vehicle by first responders. They were identified as a 13-year-old girl, an 18-year-old woman, and a 39-year-old woman. All victims were transported by ambulance to Bridgeport Medical Center, where the 23-year-old driver was later pronounced deceased.
