East Haven, CT (April 7, 2026) – Two drivers suffered serious injuries on Monday, April 6, after a head-on crash near the intersection of Grannis Street and North High Street in East Haven. The collision was reported around 1:23 p.m..
Emergency units responded to the scene and found both vehicles with heavy damage. Rescuers had to extricate both drivers from their vehicles before transporting them to Yale New Haven Hospital.
Officials confirmed that both drivers sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. North High Street was temporarily closed during the extrication effort and has since reopened.
