Haddam, CT (April 17, 2024) – One person lost their life and two were hurt in a traffic accident that happened between multiple vehicles in Haddam. The wreck occurred on Tuesday morning, according to information provided by Connecticut State Police and the Haddam Volunteer Fire Company. The Fire Company said they arrived at the scene at around 6:30 a.m. A Honda Civic EX and a Ford F-150 headed north both collided along Saybrook Road and Route 154. Elijah Santiago, 28, of Hamden, lost his life due to the extent of his injuries. The Ford’s driver and passenger were both taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. Police in Haddam continue to investigate.
