Hamden, CT (March 21, 2026) – A 32-year-old man died on Thursday, March 19, after an industrial accident at a facility on State Street in Hamden. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. at an industrial yard located at 2895 State Street.
According to the Hamden Police Department, emergency units responded after receiving reports of a worker trapped in a piece of machinery. When crews arrived, they found the man caught in equipment used for handling materials at the site.
Responders worked to free the victim from the machine and began lifesaving efforts at the scene. Despite their efforts, the man later died due to his injuries.
