Connecticut Motorcycle Accidents

Fatal motorcycle accidents continue to take a toll on Connecticut roadways, with recent years bringing troubling trends. The state reports roughly 3,600 motorcycle crashes annually, and in 2022 alone, 62 motorcyclists lost their lives—marking the deadliest year for riders in more than three decades. Most of these collisions result in serious or life-threatening injuries, underscoring the vulnerability of motorcyclists who often ride without the physical protections afforded to other motorists.
