In New Britain, Connecticut, speeding is the leading cause of car accidents, followed closely by intoxicated and distracted driving. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 94% of car accidents in the United States are due to driver negligence or error. Accidents involving distracted or intoxicated drivers often result in more severe injuries and have a higher likelihood of being fatal.
