Stamford, CT (November 18, 2024) – A hit-and-run pedestrian crash involving a scooter and a passenger vehicle happened in Stamford on Saturday, November 16. Information provided by police shows that they were called to McDonald’s on Main Street after receiving reports of the accident. A BMW sedan struck a person on a scooter before fleeing the scene. The vehicle was tracked down by police and the driver, identified as a 21-year-old, was arrested in connection with the accident. Police also found a semi-automatic handgun and ammunition inside the vehicle.

At this time, the extent of the injuries suffered by the victim has not been reported. Police in Stamford continue to investigate.
