Middletown, CT (February 12, 2025) – Two drivers were injured in a car crash in Middletown on Wednesday, February 12. Reports show the wreck occurred when a vehicle rolled over on Interstate 91 at approximately 7:00 a.m. Both drivers were transported to an area hospital to be treated for injuries they sustained in the accident.

The Westfield Fire Department reported that both victims were extricated from their vehicles by Good Samaritans before the arrival of first responders on the scene. One of the two vehicles involved in the collision rolled over and went through a guardrail, resulting in heavy damage. The other vehicle spun out and sustained moderate damage in the crash. Part of the highway was closed while police worked to investigate the details of the accident. Traffic delays ensued until shortly before 8:30 a.m. Police in Middletown continue to investigate.
